Lucinda Corin is a photographer, writer and filmmaker living and working on Kaurna land. She is a queer artist with and interest in connection, nostalgia, gender, and identity. She strives with every subject to capture a complex inner world by building an external manifestation of emotion. By evoking gothic influences and utilising compelling subjects, distorted lensing and abstract composition her work is often reminiscent of memories and dreams, or even memories of dreams.
Lucinda has been professionally creative directing and photographing within the realm of portraiture, music and fashion for the past 8 years. After studying Film and Television Production at Adelaide College of the Arts she has since worked alongside some of Australia’s leading photographers and lighting technicians on multiple feature films and television series.
She has recently debuted her first solo exhibition “In Spite” at household gallery, showed in multiple group shows, completed production on a short film, and undertaken an international writing residency in France where she developed work for a collection of short stories and photographic body of work.
